H.E. Tony Joudi holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and Economics, from Illinois Institute of Technology. As President of Fast Tract Construction, FTC Ltd, he has managed the construction and development of projects complete renovations of Atlantis Coral Towers, Beach Towers, Royal Towers and the Executive Offices. The complete renovation of the Sandals 400 room hotel. He is also known for the new construction of the Grace and Peace Wesleyan Church as well as several residential and commercial projects throughout The Bahamas, including the Hummingway and Riviera Subdivisions and the Via Della Rosa Gated Community in Coral Harbour, Nassau Bahamas. H.E. Tony Joudi has also served on the Mid-America Committee in Chicago, Illinois as the Vice-Chairman. Mid America is an International Committee for Business government Cooperation. It provides a platform for the exchange of view on international economic policy, trade and investment between senior U.S. and foreign government officials and committee members in order to facilitate and enhance member’s international commercial activities. He also served as president of AMEE International, Chicago, Illinois, worked on engineering projects for various US Government Agencies, including Illinois Department of Transportation, Illinois Tollway Authority, Capital Development Board, Metra, Department of Corrections and Department of Conservation. Ambassador Joudi served on the Board of the Bahamas International Stock Exchange for 5 years; is a trustee on the Board of Directors for The Bahamas Contractors Association, member of the Bahamas Society of Engineers, the Professional Engineering Board and is listed in the International Who’s Who.
Ambassador Joudi served as the President in charge of Sapphire Venture Fund a real estate fund (SMART FUND 007) approved by the Securities Commission, Central Bank of The Bahamas and listed on The Bahamas International Stock Exchange, BISX. In 2013, H.E. Joudi organized and participated in a business mission to the United Arab Emirates, exploring the potentials for vast business opportunities between The Bahamas and U.A.E., including linkages with the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and the Dubai Financial Markets. Previously, he had travelled to the region with a delegation from the Bahamas Government. In September 2016 Tony Joudi was appointed as The Bahamas’ Non-resident Ambassador to the U.A.E. and the State of Qatar. He was appointed as the Commissioner General for the Bahamas Pavillion in Dubai’s World Expo and currently serves as the Vice Chairman for the International Steering Committee.
Ambassador Joudi has a pleasing personality, sterling character, diplomatic ability, integrity and his ability to get along well with his contemporaries.
